Vancouver, WA - US Digital is releasing its second generation absolute inclinometer today:
the A2T.
The A2T is a rugged, single axis, digital gravity angle sensor. The A2T serves as a full 360 range absolute tilt sensing programmable level with either digital or analog output. Magnetic damping provides fast response and settling time while virtually eliminating overshoot and oscillations. An internal EEPROM stores field programmable parameters such as resolution, zero position, direction swap, and mode.
The A2T utilizes our SEI (Serial Encoder Interface) bus. The SEI bus is a simple, quick, convenient network of devices interfacing to a RS232 serial port.
Software is provided for easy installation and interfacing. For non-PC applications, the communications protocol allows for simple polling of position data or advanced functions such as mode, baud rate, and resolution changes.
They are available from stock with little or no lead-time. Technical specs, pricing, and an advanced 3D Rotation View are available here.
