Vancouver, WA - US Digital is proud to announce the release of our newest optical kit encoder, the E6.

The E6 kit encoders are designed to easily mount to and dismount from an existing shaft of 2mm to 1 inch in diameter. The E6 kit encoders are available in either polycarbonate or metal versions and feature either single-ended or differential outputs.

These non-contacting rotary to digital position feedback devices provide resolutions of 100 to 2500 CPR (400 to 10000 counts per revolution) and include a finger-latching polarized connector.

The E6 encoders convert real-time shaft angle, speed, and direction into TTL-compatible quadrature outputs with or without index from DC to 100kHz. They feature an unbreakable mylar disk, LED light source, monolithic electronics and single +5V operation.

They are available from stock with little or no lead-time.
